Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
Does anyone know where I can find info on using the Push 3c User mode?
(And M4L guide to create items on Push 3 display would be welcome too.)
Thanks in advance!

Don't think anythi8ng official has been released yet.
If you mean writing to the screen itself like graphics then that's not possible...
If you mean configuring parameters to appear to control then start here....

Re: Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
Thanks, I'm puzzled that there is no "User mode content coming later" in the manual. And only an announcement that User Mode now "available".
Thank you very much for the tutorial on M4L and Encoders set up - that's what I meant!
Ableton, can you please give us more info than the release note?: "User Mode is now available when using Push in Control Mode. All of Push's built-in functionality can be deactivated via User Mode. This allows Push to be reprogrammed to control alternate functions in Live or other software. Press the User button to enter User Mode."

For this bit I don't understand, my next videos will cover grabbing and lighting controls and general good practises when working with the Push including standalone...AlienDad wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 11:18 am"User Mode is now available when using Push in Control Mode. We'll wait and see!

Re: Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
Just make sure that Push 3 User track/remote inputs are active in Live's Preferences > Midi.
Then switch P3C to User mode and do whatever you need to do with it.

Re: Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
old://Push is mapped automatically, no need to activate the other inputs. (Unless you are using Push MIDI breakout cables.)//
I am after details of what can be done in the user mode and how (Ableton is silent on it, so I'm asking for any experience other users have).
Edit: I see that indeed, the controls in user mode are mapping only when the other inputs are selected in preferences. But still no details anywhere about user mode. I asked tech support, no answer yet.

Re: Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
Yeah this is pretty lame that in User Mode you can't even do what was possible with Push 1 or 2, or any other cheap midi controller for that matter
Only docs I found are:

Re: Push 3 User mode manual or tutorial?
It just the same thing as in P1/2. It bypasses the Control Script and lets you send raw midi from Push's pads/buttons/encoders to do whatever you want with those.AlienDad wrote: ↑Fri Oct 20, 2023 7:53 amold://Push is mapped automatically, no need to activate the other inputs. Yes, the tech support sent me the same article. It would not hurt if it were directly in Push 3 manual. I guess this is all Ableton says on this topic.sym3tri wrote: ↑Wed Nov 08, 2023 12:36 pm...Only docs I found are:
