Problems outdoors in the sun.

Post by dougtheguy » Sun Nov 12, 2023 5:37 pm

Looking for some responses of what people do when working in bright sunlight? I find that the display screen is un-readable.

Pretty much the issue with most gear I'm afraid, I run into this constantly playing festivals. I sometimes will bring a small folding cardboard sunshade I made, or maybe try and find an umbrella or some other device to block the sun.

Sadly 95% of the time it's just a matter of using my hand to create enough shade I can see what I'm doing if I can't work somewhere with shade.

Thanks for the reply.
My eyes are not what they used to be. Perhaps phone type screens will eventually be cheap enough to get into these devices.
