Push 3 jog wheel knob

Out of curiosity - can the jog wheel knob be simply pulled out like a usual knob or its somehow glued or soldiered and to the Push 3 itself and it can't be done?

I never tried with this one (well, it's very tight so I stopped trying before it became too frightening), I don't see why it would be removed in a different manner BUT... that's the only one cap not available on the ableton shop. I don't know the reason why, so this is calling for caution.

Mine came with the jog wheel loose in the bag with my push. They’re sending me a replacement out. I thought it was supposed to be like that, so I just stuck it on and it works fine. But ableton say they need to replace it.

Could you describe how was the process of 'stucking it on' looked? Is the metal rod below the cap similar to other synthesisers or its completely different design? When you received it from Ableton loose in the box did it look like it was broken or just detached?
Final question - will Ableton send you just a replacement cap or you had to send them whole Push 3?
