Ableton Live current version (11.3.11) crashes on startup in MacOS Sonoma 14.0

Just wanted to let y'all know if there are any other cowboys like me out there.

I've got nothing mission critical in Ableton at the moment (if I had I wouldn't have updated), I'll post here once this resolves.

This isn't a bug report, just a warning to other users.

I downloaded the latest beta, it managed to get through re-scanning plugins without crashing.

Subsequently, I re-opened Live non-beta, and since the re-scan is done it's not crashing.

So there's hope, kids.

11.3.11 is working fine on Sonoma here (and has been with the Sonoma beta versions). Just sharing as this might be a specific issue...

Same here. 11.3.11 also ran fine on the 14.0 beta and release of Sonoma, and it now runs fine on the latest 14.1 beta.
No issues with beta 11.3.20b2 either.

What could be the case is that specific plugins or their plugin managers are not yet compatible.
The crash report may reveal the cause of the initial crashes you had. Did you send those to Ableton?

I have been having trouble with Ableton since upgrading to Sonoma 14.0 and it is currently unresponsive

Ableton doesn't open up, it just gets stuck at startup, resulting in me force quitting the application. On the off chance, it does open up(After waiting for a very long time) it becomes unresponsive again when I try to open up a recent live set. I've tried reinstalling version 11.3.11 but was met with the same problems. I've also sent in a crash report.

I too now have crashes constantly upon opening. risking sounding like an ijit, beta version of what? Sonoma or ableton? link?
