I'm not even sure if this is the appropriate channel to post this, but I wanted to make sure to put it somewhere that could hopefully catch the eye of someone at Ableton. I posted a month or so ago, maybe a little longer expressing my complete and total dissatisfaction with Ableton's stability on the AMD platform and at the time was on the verge of cancelling my pre-order of 12 and finding a new DAW altogether. I decided to hold out and give it a shot.
Wow. Just wanted to give a huge shoutout to the engineers who worked on 12 and provided such a solid upgrade on the very first public full version release. I went from experiencing 5-6 crashes a day, oftentimes simply by trying to load a plugin to not a single crash since I started using it a few days ago (I've been using it for roughly 5 hours daily).
Stability was my only issue with previous versions and I really didn't want to leave and switch to another DAW because there's simply no other DAW that is so perfect for my style and approach to mixing. So I am thrilled that it's no longer a consideration.
Thanks Ableton!

Re: Ableton 12 Stability on PC - AMD Platform
Interesting. I have an AMD 5900X/X570 machine and haven't ever had a crash, through Live 10 and 11. Haven't had one in 12 either yet, but it's early days.
