Have a look to see if you have somehow muted the push like I did. I had no idea that it was possible to mute an entire audio interface using the operating system mute button.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: Push 3 audio outputs dead?
UPDATE : Problem solved!
Don’t know what did the trick but this is what I did : Installed the beta 5, did a factory reset. After that I installed 1.1.2, did a factory reset again. And now it’s working!
Thanks all for the help and advice, really appreciate it!

I figured out my issue and it is bloody stupid. Of me and the system. Not sure if Windows does anything so nuts too.
While I was working yesterday I must have switched my laptop over to use the push when I watched a YouTube video. I muted the video with the keyboard mute key then switched my laptop back to using the built in speakers for streaming videos. This must have then also muted the push. I solved it by switching the laptop over to use the push as its speakers. Hit the mute key again. Switched laptop back to using internal speakers and the push just to Ableton and the sound was back out of my speakers.
Such a combination of stupid system that would allow that to happen and stupid user who managed to orchestrate a situation where that happened in the first place.
Could a similar thing have happened with yours?
This happened to me. Thanks a lot

Re: Push 3 audio outputs dead?
For what its worth, I had exactly the same issue: My Push 3 Audio Outs were dead / not working after I upgraded to FW 1.4.4 . I only found out *on the festival stage* - absolute nightmare, had to play the gig through the headphone out. I blamed the FW upgrade, but when I stumbled across this post today, I remembered that I had used the Push 3 as MacOS audio output device and might have muted it. So I re-selected it as audio device in MacOS, muted and unmuted it, and voila, sound was playing again. I then launched Ableton Live on my computer (the Push 3 was in control mode), and *it broke the audio out again*. Just launching Ableton somehow made the Push "remember" the mute setting somehow? So I rebooted the push, selected it as Audio out in Mac OS X again, muted/unmuted, selected another audio out in MacOS, and THEN launched Ableton. And voila, the audio outputs came back to life.
This is *so weird* but I'm glad I was able to solve the issue with the help of this thread. Thanks so much everyone!
Greetings,
Bertolt

Re: Push 3 audio outputs dead?
Happened to me. Mac. Did all kinds of troubleshooting then found that I had accidentally muted audio in OS! Seems stupid but Ableton really needs to note this in the manual, very unintuitive
