midi import problem

If I ticked the "don't import tempo and time signature" box when I imported midi. how do I get that option back again?

Did you try renaming the midi file to another name?

no its all midi files now don't do that

I have the same problem in Ableton 12.
I ticked the "don't import tempo and time signature" box when importing midi files.
And now there is no option box anymore.
How to get it back?
I search everywhere but no one has a solution....

Delete your preferences, it will come back.

On a MAC : in Finder, hold the option key and click GO->Library then Preferences->Ableton and choose your latest Live's version in there.

delete the preferences.cfg file.

Preferences > Display & Input > "Don't Show Again" Warnings, click Restore button.
