M-Vave Chocolate and MIDI Mappings

Post by BRxToronto » Mon Jun 03, 2024 2:04 pm

Hello,

I am having a problem MIDI mapping my M-Vave Chocolate after entering the correct parameters, that I have followed, in CubeSuite. I am looking to go the basics here. I just want switch on/off Live's plug-ins and effects for guitar and a switch starting/stopping songs on the audio channel featuring my live set.

I used to run an FCB 1010. Now I wish I didn't sell it! Once you would program the CC's, in Live's MIDI screen, it was simple with tapping the foot switch in unison with clicking on the the effect on/off button at the top right of it, and the FCB 1010 was mapped and it showed under the MIDI mappings portion of the screen. The CC's 127 means effect on, 0 means effect off.

Now, with the Chocolate, everything looks good as I have followed and in theory it should work the same.

So something so simple isn't happening for me. Also my M-Vave keeps defaulting to II?? Any insight on that?

As you can't upload images here? And I don't host a site to post a screenshot, I'll try and describe what my screenshot would show:

Cubesuite:

Select the MIDI interface type: TRS-MIDI (selected)
Mode selection: Advance custom mode (selected)
Foot Switch Additional Options: Foot Switch (A) selected
Select Stampede Mode: Mode Press Down - release (Two sets of information) selected
A Bank: [1] 1 CC 64 127 B Bank: [1] 1 CC 64 0

Hope i've explained this well enough. Too bad we can't post images here to make it clear.

Can you please help me?

Thanks in advance,
B

Hi,
Thanks for bringing that up. I have the same problem.
Why is it so hard to map 4 switches to basic parameters...
Hopefully, someone will find the answer.
Thanks in advance
