I have a small modular system that I'm using as basically an external processing unit in my show. At some parts in the show, the modular is processing a juno, at others it needs to be processing audio from a hydrophone. My modular is all in stereo btw.
Here's my main issue - without unplugging and replugging in cables, how can I have the modular processing different instruments/synths at different points in my show? The obvious answer would seem to be having it on an FX send and I can just send the instruments to the modular when they need processing - but my dry signal would remain in this case. I want everything routed so that it's as if it's 100 wet without a copy of the dry signal. How can I achieve this?

You can set the FX channel to pre-fader mode. This lets you set the volume of the instrument's channel to zero, while you will still have a signal on the FX channel.
