Why is version 12 suite upgrade 2 x price of standard upgrade?

Hi,

I wonder why upgrading to version 12 is twice as expensive for the suite version than the standard version?

Why should I pay +200 euros instead of +100 euros when the upgrade is the very same, except for only 2 additions: " Lost and Found" pack and "Roar" effect.

So the suite has 27 new features vs. 25 new features on the standard edition.

This is a question directly aimed towards Ableton, and it would be great if you managed to share your reasoning behind this decision to your users on this topic.

You forget Meld, Granulator III, Performance Pack, and an update of Max and possibly some more things.

Suite also offers way more Instruments, Effects and Packs, as listed here

I went through this list:

and these seems to be exclusive version 12 uppdates for Suite:

Granulator III - new
Meld - New
Operator - uppdate

Roar - new

Performance Pack - new
Lost and found - new

So more than I first thought, which is nice.

And don't forget that you also get M4L (which it's 150 when bought as an add-on) when you upgrade to Suite.
And you also get a ton of Packs that are not part of the Standard licence, same with FX device.
i.e you're not just adding the new L12 Suite content, but also what was already part of Suite and not in Standard.

You're also forgetting all the audio and MIDI effects devices that are Suite-exclusive. Of which there are a lot
