Hi all.
I'm mainly jamming in my studio and for this I have all my gear connected to a X32 mixer, which I use to monitor/hear what I'm jamming.
Now it happens that I started looking into recording into Live 11. What I'd now like to achieve is to still have my gear to be monitored via X32, but also to play along what is being played by the DAW (after for example I record the bass line). I do have a stereo output (all via USB) from Live to my X32, but when I play back something from the DAW and I simultaneously play one of my synths, I have the latter being heard twice: once directly via X32, then via Live's USB stereo output.
Can anybody help me understand how I'd be best setting things up to be able to play along with what's being played back from the DAW?
Thanks,
F.
How to correctly set up external monitoring and integration with DAW?
Re: How to correctly set up external monitoring and integration with DAW?
Best to check the X32 manual on this, see page 32...
"you will need to pass all audio from the mic preamp of the console directly into the PC, and then back into the console for monitoring"

Thanks - I will check the X32 manual.
In Live, do I have to set "Monitor" to "auto" or to "in"?
