I'm making a multi-layered sample instrument and would like to add a new layer that can be selected with a Chain Selector, so that one sample plays on setting A, and a different sample plays on setting B. I have set this up on a Chain, and mapped that to a macro.
The problem I have is that when changing from setting A to setting B while a note is held, the new sample doesn't play until the note is retriggered, whereas I want it to switch immediately even when a note is on.
Is there a way to get the note to retrigger as soon as the Chain Selector is changed?
