Help a n00b :)

Post by rebelcolorado » Thu Aug 01, 2024 11:31 pm

Howdy y'all,
I'm pretty new to Ableton so bear with me if the answer is obvious. I've been working on a song and all of a sudden, I can't hear any of the MIDI clips I've already recorded or any notes being played on my MIDI keyboard for any of the MIDI instruments I've loaded onto tracks. I can see I'm receiving a signal from my MIDI controller, I can see the notes in the clips I've already recorded so I know I'm not trying to play a blank clip, and the audio tracks and metronome play just fine so I don't think it's anything to do with my audio output. I've tried closing out restarting Ableton. Any ideas as to what's going on and how to fix it?
Thanks in advance!

I guess your midi tracks Input Monitoring setting is set to IN. Toggle this to Auto instead.
