Audio effects for vocals
Does anyone have suggestions for audio effects that can give a vocal track more "body"? (Sorry, I'm not sure of a better way to describe what I mean).
Sometimes I find it helpful to duplicate a vocals track and add Simple Chorus to the second track.

It looks as though 12.1's Auto Shift will be good for this.

Yeah, that was what I was watching. It is rather fast and my brain is addled, but I get the general idea, and it seems to be just what I was looking for.

Ah, cool. Thanks

When I think of "Body" I think of low mid weight. Kind of like the sound I associate with a good sounding Radio DJ.gandalf458 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2023 9:38 amDoes anyone have suggestions for audio effects that can give a vocal track more "body"? I think the three most important tools are:
1. EQ
2. Compression
3. Saturation (namely tape)
Chorus is more of a phattening plugin to make a sound more intense and/or wider.
