Delay compensation on master is not taken into account when exporting

I've been trying to export individual tracks with the group effects on. The only work around I found was the following :

1) For each group, I put the effect of the group on the master.

2) Then I select all the track of the group and export the selected tracks only.

So first of all this is a huge loss of time, as I can't start the rendering (which is painfully long, I have more than 50 tracks) and do something else, because I have to stay there and manually launch the rendering of each group.

So my first question is : is there a better work around ?

Now this workaround has a flaw : when a plugin on the group has latency, putting that plugin on the master and exporting the selected track will not take that latency into account. As a result the different groups are not synchronized.

Hence my second question : how can I export the master with delay compensation on the master ?

Any tips and tricks to compensate Ableton Live's aweful export system ?

Do you mean you're moving your Group Track's FX to the Master for rendering?

I don't know about the video, but in my case when rendering "Selected tracks only", delay compensation fails. For instance if I have two tracks, one of them has a plugin with latency on it, when I export those two tracks separately, they will be out of sync by the amount of the plugin's delay

That's weird. Are you sure you're not using the individual track's delay option?

Yes I've verified it. I can't reproduce it on smaller examples however. I'm still trying to figure it out

We have a session with 50-60 tracks in 12 groups and exported as "All Individual Tracks" and imported into Pro Tools to be mixed.

In Pro Tools, it is evident that there's about 20ms delay on the groups vs the individual tracks that fed those same groups, probably from a few simple Ableton plugins (EQ, Filter, Compression) that were used.

As a result, everything is bring thrown off balance. Seems like this is a big problem with ableton.
Has anyone figured out a workaround?
