Hello, I'm looking for a way to get the "Classic Synths" pack by "Katsuhiro Chiba" to run on an Apple silicon mac without Rosetta. Does anyone here know where to change the patch? Or does someone already have a newer version running that they could share?
It's a shame that Ableton doesn't provide an update here. Truly it's one of the best Max for Live packs. Just like “Kasio” by “Oli Larkin” with the same problem. Too bad... too bad...

Agreed. I never took the time to open the devices and found what's not silicon-compatible. Might be something easily solvable, might be an old external that would need to be re-compile.

Thanks for your answer. I haven't contacted support yet. Officially, the packs are listed as discontinued packs at Ableton. I wonder why, the quality of the instruments is still very good. I will now contact support.

Right, I forgot about this. Then it's not worth contacting Support, they'll tell you... it's discontinued.

Rivanni, you are of course right. I just mentioned the whole pack. But Opfour is very good, especially when it comes to the Sysex import of the TX81Z.
I hope that there will soon be a way to use the “Classic Synths” and “Kasio” packs on Apple Silicon.
