Hi there,
So just wonder if anyone know about the risk of using Live, running under a Non-administrator account account? Would it less stable?
I noted factory packs relocated to this account, re-activate some au/vsti plug ins.
Another thing I noted is Live can not be connected to Internet (while activation it can) under this account, I don't recall if there's a internet setting for a specific app on MacOS.
Let's share the thoughts.

Where did you read that information ? Source ? In fact good professional practice is to do non-admin work on a computer with a Non-Administrator-account always. Why would it be less stable ?rockman413 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 2:58 pmHi there,

What do you mean by „relocated to this account” and the plugins ? You can administer Factory Packs to your liking and place them in a location you choose - see https://help.ableton.com/hc/de/articles ... 0Q8EAAJ7FG . Nothing to do with user account.rockman413 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 2:58 pmI noted factory packs relocated to this account, re-activate some au/vsti plug ins.
Usually web access is without problems on creating an non-admin-user in macos. There are methods to manage user and app privileges, but that requires different methods depending on the general scope of setting these privileges (Parental Control Mechanism, Device-Management-solutions with defining payloads).rockman413 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2024 2:58 pmAnother thing I noted is Live can not be connected to Internet (while activation it can) under this account, I don't recall if there's a internet setting for a specific app on MacOS.
