I'm feeling pretty gear-inadequate too!

Would prefer an 88-key controller, a few knob-and-slider-covered boxes to twiddle things with. But that does me ok for now. Oh, and I have these too :)

Hey dude, I have one of those MC307's as well, just wondering how you use it or if you use it much?

I tend to hook it up in MIDI to live and use live to trigger the drums, with a bit of the filter on them to beef them up a bit. I've never really spent much time with any of the onboard effects or anything like that.

I'll post my set up later today if I get time.. needs a quick tidy up since half of it went gigging last night :D

That reminds me... must update my insurance and put in that video surveillance system and shotgun razor-blade booby-trap burglar alarm...

Gotta put pictures on the wall and stuff. And add a DJ set up for my live performance thing in the back corner of the room, but this is the framework. The orange studio room.... :)

I haven't had this room for two years, and now its back (took me a week to clean it out, paint, get new desk furniture, curtains, all that jazz. It now My precious.

Of course I was joking!

Seriously, though, make sure your gear is secure and insured. Unfortunately, music/DJing/clubbing attracts low-life scum who would have no problem walking away with your precious equipment. It's one of the reasons I had to close my studio, after DI boxes, mics, etc would "disappear" after sessions with local "musicians".

It's even worse in clubs/pubs/etc, especially with compact equipment, like laptops, Faderfoxes, etc.

I would personally beat to a pulp any scumbag I caught trying to steal anything. (Gee, Officer, I usually use that Louisville Slugger to tame the low-frequency nodes in my studio...)
