So the conundrum is, when I capture using Logic's Autosampler, it spits out files in the proper format of instrument_name-note_number-velocity, but there's also a four-letter hash at the end. These import into Sampler perfectly with the zones automatically set up.
However, when I manually name other sets of samples to the same format without a hash, they load, but the zones aren't automatically set up. Logically, it would seem you need the hash, but adding just any four letters doesn't seem to help Sampler create zones.
This works: Abbey Road Cymbals-B2-V89-LHDS.aif Working backwards that's MIDI note 59 and velocity of 89. This does not: Royo Tom-A4-V45.wav or this Royo Tom-A4-V45-QWER.wav
Is there any documentation on this, or does anyone know the magic formula? The correct hash type? Am I missing something simple?
