Move as Push 3 Standalone companion?

Post by Garazd » Wed Oct 09, 2024 8:30 am

Hi,

As owner of Push 3 Standalone me interested if Move could extend functionality of my P3S like an additional MIDI-controller? If yes, what benefits will I get?

Thanks!

No it won't work unfortunately.
And honestly I'm not sure what it would bring to P3SA.

Unfortunately, the setup has the same limitation as other dual configurations (2 Push devices…). You can’t control two different tracks with two different devices. I understand where the limitation comes from, but I hope Ableton works on this one day.
Just imagine being able to use two Push devices simultaneously for live performance!

Yeah having two independent control surfaces would be neat !

yes, and this is why I'm going to withdraw the move. it's a funny hardware but too much limitation at this time and with my live configuration.

At the same boat… Hope that “2.0 update” will fix that…

this limitation is not coming from the move, but from live
