Live 12.1 Zoom missing before Warp?

Since upgrading to Live 12.1, anyone else notice the zoom function on the sample editor is now missing, until you warp?
So I can’t zoom in to find the first beat anymore as the magnifying glass seems to be missing in 12.1?

Has this already been noticed?

Yes, in 12.1 the magnifying glass icon only appears in the start marker section at the top of non-warped clips. Seems like a bug because the 12 manual still describes the old behaviour:

For audio clips, when Warp is disabled, zooming and scrolling can be done anywhere in the upper half of the Sample Editor. When Warp is enabled, however, scrolling only happens in the beat-time ruler.

Hopefully it can be fixed.

Yes I noticed it straight away, as you have to warp 'blind' to zoom in to find the first downbeat? a bit odd?

This is bugging the hell out of me. Why would they remove this? What reason could there possibly be for making it so you can no longer zoom AND audition an unwarped clip??? REALLY hoping it's a bug because otherwise my workflow becomes borderline unusable

Agree and thought it was me to start with, so also hoping it’s a bug that gets squashed soon!

Still here in 12.1.1 ?

I can still see the Magnifying glass above the waveform and just below the loop brace. It takes less than an additional second to find it once used to it.

NOW YESSSSS I can drag and select a portion of time in the sample editor without having to manually edit clips in the Arrangement to do simple things in certain cases. For me it will mean less "warp, select, copy, paste elsewhere, return, unwarp" so simply having to aim the mouse (like constantly done anyway) is hopefully fair???

I see only an improvement here, and no loss of Zoom functionality before or after Warp, except that one larger screen real estate now is partitioned and gives additional functionality.
