how to create multiple copies of a non MPE instrument to achieve MPE/Poly AT

Post by greenscreens » Fri Nov 15, 2024 11:02 pm

does anyone know a hack or workaround to send the polyaftertouch/PB/slide to instruments that only have mono PB + AT natively?

Ive been able to do it with mainstage where you make 6-8 copies of the same plugin to get 6-8 voice polyphony. Each new note on message is sent to the next instrument. This was a workaround for a long time when MPE was not native to live, but im not sure how to achieve it within live.

I'm wondering if there is a way to do this within live where every successive note of polyphony gets sent to a new midi channel.
