Pops in audio when using gate sequencers

Post by Nihilistus » Sun Dec 15, 2024 5:26 am

Hello, everyone.

I have googled and read through many posts on reddit and elsewhere in search of a way to resolve this problem to no avail.

As the subject line indicates I am being plagued by subtle pops in the audio when I use gate sequencers. This is occurring in many use cases with many different instruments and sequencers. This happens even in tiny projects and can be reproduced quite simply. Right now I have the grand piano pack on a single track playing one note and with the free A1Audio plugin TriggerGate running and the pops are quite audible. Considering how easily reproducible this is I have high hopes that someone has encountered this before.

My laptop is new and fast. The cpu is nowhere near throttled. Windows 11, Live 12 Suite. Buffer Size 4096 samples. No interface and studio headphones plugged in completely.

Any help with this would be very much appreciated and thank you for reading.
