uninstall Live 11 Intro before downloading and installing Live 12 Intro?

Couldn't find an answer to this in search, so my question is:

Should I uninstall Live 11 Intro first before I download and install Live 12 Intro?

Or does Live 12 install right on top of Live 11?

Or , if they're in separate folders, is it OK to have both installed without messing anything up?

THEN, can I uninstall Live 11 without messing up anything?

(And can I assume my AL music files are safe regardless of which I do)?

No need to uninstall 11. Version 12 is a separate installation. Both can live side by side.

You can keep 11 if you want to, or uninstall it before or after installing 12. It doesn't matter.

Uninstalling doesn't touch any of your files, not even your preferences.
