How to not enable EXT by default?

Post by rockman413 » Tue Dec 24, 2024 3:31 pm

Hi there,
For some reason, whenever I open a new live set, the EXT is on and I have to manually click it to off.
I can deselect all midi source off "sync", and EXT will not be one but I remembered there's time that I have external source for sync but the EXT is not always on by default.

Did you save your default template with it turned on?

I just press cmd+n, a new set, and it's turned on

open Live/new set
disable EXT (or change anything else you want in a fresh project )
go to file menu and 'save Live set as default'

I guess I was wrong. Saving the default set with EXT enabled, then closing and reopening Live, doesn't work apparently. Sorry for the confusion.
