Hi there,
I'm thinking to use Live for playing back video , since I'm already using it to playback stems, trigger virtual instruments in the same session, but is it stable? any stability issues as for Live performance stability is key.
Your experience of Live with Video stability for performance?

I use video on stage, with a pretty intense Live session, and I never had any problem with video...rockman413 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 4:57 amHi there,

I'm on a mac, and I care about the video settings I use in my video files, but I guess it's as stable on windows (please check the Live help page about video formats : https://help.ableton.com/hc/en-us/artic ... sing-Video
By the way, I can't help but speaking about videosync, an app+M4L plugin suite that allow you to control video and display it when in session mode (normally, you can only use video in arrangement mode, but when on stage, session mode is king).
It's amazing, very stable and with no CPU penalty (as far as I can see).

A second vote for Videosync here - it's a game changer.
