I'm trying to make music instead of clicking the mouse all night.
The One thing I keep clicking over and over is MIDI INPUT: No Input, or keyboard.
My hands are on the synth keyboard and then I have to move over to the mouse and move to that little box to select input.
Is there a shortcut or better wat to not keep changing from No Input to Instrument?

Re: MIDI FROM: NO INPUT
OK, You just keep one track for the synth to play live, and the other is No Input so it has your MIDI. That might work.
I will try it. Thanks.

Re: MIDI FROM: NO INPUT
By default a MIDI track will have "MIDI From" set as "All Ins" - you might have saved it with a different setting
Track Defaults
Defaults exist also for Audio and MIDI channels, allowing you to set a default input or output and even an included instrument or effect whenever you add a channel. Right click on a Channel Header and choose Save as Default MIDI Track or Save as Default Audio Track respectively from the context menu.
