Stuttering Scrolling in music and mouse scrolling

I just bought a MacBook Pro M2 Max with 32gb ram. I am in Ventura. Everything is up to date version wise. I switched from a 2020 27" iMac which I had no problems with graphics. When The music is scrolling it is stuttering or latency then catches up. The same is happening if I scroll up and down on my mouse scroll wheel. I have my laptop closed and hooked up to a 4k display at 60hz via HDMI cable. Then I have a 40" TV DisplayPort out to HDMI which is coming out of a OWC hub. This worked flawless on my iMac. It does not do this in other software like if I scroll in safari. My MacBook Pro is supposed to be the most powerful computer apple has out now for the 16" version. in my monitor setting there is something that say Freesync (Adaptive sync). I trashed my preferences, and templates. Still the same issue.

Try setting your audio buffer to 128 samples in Live's audio pref's. That seems to be the sweet spot for CPU on the Apple M machines. Does that help at all?

Im talking about the graphics latency and stuttering delay. The audio is fine. Something weird with the HDMI to 4K TV. my TV is HDR not UHD TV but it is 4K. only HDMI 2.0 ports. Is this not compatible with the new Macs or Ableton?

Im having similar issues, the graphics is stuttering and not smooth. The changes on the plugins is responding. Example: i move the cutoff on a synth and i hear the changes direct and accordingly, but the filter button is not really moving…:(

I don’t think Ableton 11 is compatible with multiple monitors on M2 MacBook pros. It works perfectly fine in logic and all other apps. Only Ableton I have the issue.

Yes same problem here.

Ableton Live Version 11.3.35

Audio is fine. Display stutters.

The issue is NOT limited to secondary monitor.
I have disconnected my secondary monitor, am using only my built in display - I'm seeing the same problem on built in display.

I'll chime in with an old issue from 11.3.. do you by any chance have EQ or spectral analyzer in expanded view? That causes stuttering directly proportional to the height of the expanded view.
