Copying tracks to Live 12 problem

This is a problem that I have experienced with previous versions of Live and I'm hoping I can overcome it, but so far I have no joy.

At least one of my plugins needs to run under Aminstrator permission (Windows 11). My workaround for this was to run Live 'As Aminstrator'.
However,one side effect of this is that I lose the ability to drag and drop audio or midi clips to a Live track. I have to resort to copy and paste and this doesnt work well from the audio/midi source or even Live itsef.

Any ideas pleaase. I'm not sure why there should be a difference anyway.

Add the folder with the files you want to drop to Places.

What is the plugin that needs Admin rights?

Cakewalk Dimension Pro. Without Admin Live admin permissions this plugin reports that it is incorrectly installed.
