Hello,
I kindly request the addition of a feature I believe would be valuable: the ability to hide items in the browser. I suggest adding this to the right-click menu when selecting an item, with an ‘Unhide All’ button placed next to the eye icon introduced in Live 12.1. (Build: 2024-09-25_bba251b1d9).
Reasoning:
1. When designing sounds in various ways, I save different configurations as presets, each with its own version number. As they stack up, some become unnecessary but are still kept for archival purposes.
2. I have both VST3 and AU versions of plugins installed and available in Live. I’d like to hide some plugins, as I only use the AU version for certain plugins and the VST3 version for others. Any discussion about the reasons for this can be addressed separately or privately. Please avoid unnecessary commentary in this thread.
Thank you.

Re: Hide Items In Browser
I drew up a simple version of how this could present.

Mine is somewhat different, it exists within the same ux paradigm as tagging, to simplify. I'd be happy with either.
I'd like to add that this would also help with plugins I don't want to use anymore but might exist in older projects. There is really no other way to deal with those in a simple manner.
