PUSH3 WISHLIST
PUSH3 WISHLIST
What would you put on your top3 features wishlist for push3?
Push3 seems are still focussed on too literally in operating live software using push as a controller territory and doesn't feel like a naturally inspiring musical instrument to play.
Once the software devs rethink from first principles how the push form factor can be used more intuitively free from previously inhibiting workflows(or m4l workarounds) we could greatly benefit from natively interactive and inspiring features ie oxi one chord modes, torso t1's euclidean sequencing, korg' fx pad.
That and enabling rtp midi over wifi and ethernet would put push3 standalone at the center of your studio/couch/show making and performing music.

Re: PUSH3 WISHLIST
can we already play/control synths while launching other clips? a-la Akai Force?
maybe a bit more functionality so we can perform better live

Re: PUSH3 WISHLIST
A ‘performative’ sequencer
Eg
Euclidean
Reverse
Ping-pong
Halve length
Double length
Random
Ratcheting
Follow actions
Etc etc
Plus all the midi transformers and generators

A true power off mode for the Standalone version, the battery drains soooo quick when it’s “off” and not being used currently.

Yes, if I leave it unplugged and sitting on a shelf the battery will drain almost completely in just a few weeks. It’s happened so many times that I grab it to take to a friends house to jam and it’s completely dead even though I haven’t used it since last full charge.

Re: PUSH3 WISHLIST
Yep so jealous of all the disruptive music making features with hapax, oxi, torso controllers.
Each bring unique approachs to music making that makes interfacing with hardware so much more intuitive and enjoyable.
Unexplored territory ripe for push3 to conquer.
Re: PUSH3 WISHLIST
tbh I dont play on battery much -- compared to lets say mpc live ii, the life on push3 is for the birds.Tarekith wrote: ↑Fri Feb 07, 2025 12:44 amYes, if I leave it unplugged and sitting on a shelf the battery will drain almost completely in just a few weeks.
