At 7pm UK time (Jan 31st 2025), Anthony Marinelli is streaming "Push 3 The Future Of Music?" on YouTube.
Quoting from the text on YouTube:
"Go behind the scenes of the painstaking multi-year design journey that brought Ableton Push 3 to life! We take an exclusive trip to Ableton’s Berlin headquarters to uncover the evolution of this groundbreaking standalone instrument.
Join us as we meet with Jesse Terry (Product Manager) and Philipp Von Lintel (Industrial Designer) for a one-of-a-kind deep dive into the original prototype room—where Push 3’s earliest designs and hardware concepts took shape. They open up the drawers, revealing the progression of size, shape, knob placement, heat sinks, memory architecture, user interface refinements, and the fine-tuned layout crafted for intuitive musical expression and long-term adaptability.
Discover how Ableton’s team drew inspiration from Bauhaus, Braun, and Apple’s iconic design aesthetics, blending form and function into an instrument that doesn’t just work with a computer—it is the computer... and a state-of-the-art expressive instrument.
This is a rare look at the meticulous craftsmanship behind one of the most forward-thinking music devices of our time. Don’t miss it!"

Re: Anthony Marinelli Push 3 stream today!
Do they discuss when they’re likely to finish it?
Re: Anthony Marinelli Push 3 stream today!
Surely it's an ongoing project - that's why they made it upgradeable.
Live itself is on version 12 now. It's over 22 years old. Did you ask the same thing when you began using Live?

Re: Anthony Marinelli Push 3 stream today!
There are some who, on its release, felt it was incomplete relative to what they considered reasonable expectations based largely on Ableton’s own broader description of the product - most notably follow actions and a means of song arrangement. Some still think this way.
I’m not saying I do or don’t but my comment was a gentle joke for the benefit of those who do

Haha thanks
Push 3 is amazing ... despite some frustrations with a few things missing, depending on your perspective
I remain commited to the platform and positive about its future!
