Reverb track

Post by gandalf458 » Wed Feb 19, 2025 2:53 pm

I've been using Live for a few years and I'm presently using Live 12 Standard.

When I want to add some reverb, I usually add it to a single track or to the master (main) track.

However, I see there is a reverb track, but I don't see how to use it as tracks 1 and 2 are set send audio to the main track. So does the reverb ytack actually do anything?

That reverb is in the ‘Return’ channel. You can ‘Send’ any channel’s audio to go into that channel.

The main thing to look up is ‘Send’ and ‘Return’. In Session view the Send is knobs and increasing the knob amount sends a higher amplitude of the channel’s signal to the Return

In Arrangement view it is a value slider if I recall.

Sometimes the send knobs are hidden, you might have to turn it on in view.
