Plugin Window Management

When you hover over the plugin show/hide button on a VST the Info view says "[Ctrl] Open Multiple Plug-In Windows". The manual has the following enlightening prose.

"Open Multiple Windows with Show/Hide Plug-In Window Button"

Control doesn't appear to do anything different whether I have multiple plugin windows open on not. Has anyone figured out exactly what it means?

Yeah, doesn't do anything other than turn the icon grey. Shame, as it would be very useful to be able to see multiple VSTs at once (just like all the other DAWs).

Ctrl-Alt-P also doesn't work properly, unless you've already clicked the spanner with the mouse (i.e. it only closes plugins initially).

Thanks. A shortcut key that opened/closed the window of the selected plugin would be perfect for me.
