Cutting midi notes -> No way to undo?
Is there no way to undo cutting notes from a midi clip? I accidentally cut them, but when I tried undo it didn't allow me to put it back.
Re: Cutting midi notes -> No way to undo?
Undoing the splitting of MIDI notes should function like undoing other actions.
Check the undo history pane (CTRL/CMD+ALT+Z) to see if there are additional actions in the list that are preventing the undo. Some rogue Max devices can flood the undo history.

Just bumping the point about Max devices -- I've found that devices linked to the transport are especially apt to flood the undo list, and you can't perform undo actions on even the most immediate edits you make.
Even something as simple as an LFO assigned to modulate another device's parameter changes can cause this once the transport is rolling.
If you want to check this, you can just refer to the history or simply Edit > Undo -- you may find that the most recent action wasn't your own!
