May I ask you how did you manage to send OSC messages from the P3 SA? I’ve tried to use UDPSend and receive in a M4L device but still no luck. I don’t know if my problem is that the host IP is not set correctly in both devices …

Giving this one a bump -- still hoping ableton friends would see RTP midi and osc over both wifi and cable as needed/priority standard performance features for push3 standalone.
Would love to trigger external lighting and visuals using those two protocols directly from ableton over the network without all the clunky workarounds.

Just Pierre, what exactly are you doing? Just picked up a Widi Jack and I can’t for the life of me get it to send midi to my iPad. I have tried different settings. Bluetooth connects to my iPad. I have tried different settings for outputs. Create an external instrument and chose user port or external port. Nothing.Just_Pierre wrote: ↑Fri Apr 19, 2024 9:19 amI also use the original cables.I think I used the Ableton Push 3 user port, but I'm not sure. I will check later this day when I'm home.burbus wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 7:34 pmwhat cables did you use to connect your push to the CME Widi Jack? i bought the CME branded 2.5 to 3.5 mm cables, and it doesnt seem to recognize the WIDI, meaning that when i go to the MIDI menu in Push, i only see Ableton Push 3 User Port, and Ableton Push 3 External Port, and i would expect to see "WIDI Jack" as an option.Just_Pierre wrote: ↑Tue Dec 12, 2023 8:16 pmThe Push 3 provides enough power from the 3.5mm Midi ports to power the 3.5mm CME Widi Jack. It really works perfect!
Update : just tried it, the CME Widi Jack doesn't show up as a midi device, you have to use the Ableton User Port.
Trying to see if I am missing something.

Haven't used it for a while. But I just tested it for you. And you are right, the CME Widi Jack doesn't work anymore with firmware Push 2.2b11. It gets power from the P3SA midi-out port, the blue light is on but no midi activity at all. I know that it worked in previous release versions.
What firmware version do you have installed on your P3SA?
To be sure I will send a bug report.

Should be the most up to date firmware. I am not running the beta update however.Just_Pierre wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 11:40 amHaven't used it for a while. But I just tested it for you. I did get it to work. Have to first make sure in the midi setting that “Ableton Push 3 External Port” has like Track, Remote, Sync, all checked on the output. Then in the external instrument select that External Port.
The reason I know it’s the External Port and not the User is I did some trouble shooting testing. When plugging into a hardware synth to control it with 3.5mm I had to use that option to get midi to run the hardware.
The big gotcha for me was on the WIDI Jack making sure use the polarity switch to switch from Type B to Type A.

Ahhhhh.....the type B to A. I switched it some time ago for using it with another synth. Thanks for this!j0sephl wrote: ↑Sat Mar 29, 2025 4:00 pmShould be the most up to date firmware.
