Hello.
P3 SA, purchased 2nd hand.
Registration details have been exchanged and I've received an email from ableton, so no issues there.
When I switch on, the p3 goes into standalone mode, and has the logo on the screen and flashing pads. I am unable to do anything else in this mode - no menu options, buttons have no effect etc.
Hard reset allows me to go into controller mode, which appears to be working as it should.
When I go into preferences on the hardware, there's option to select wifi - not greyed out, just no option at all. Pressing shift does not reveal secondary menu options.
In the software section when pressing shift, there's no other options available.
In ableton (suite 12- upgraded this week so am sure it's the most recent version) in the push section it says 0 push's are connected.
What I have tried:
Factory reset on hardware
Reinstalled ableton
Downloaded the image to reflash via USB - when this happens the push remains in standalone mode, instead of there being a meter to show progress.
Have held off till the save button goes green and then followed that process.
Have used the og psu
Have used og usb
Have tried a different usb
Have turned off firewall
Have tried a new user on the pc
Can't update the p3 firmware due to the above, so this step hasn't been completed
Windows laptop, up to date and has enough ram etc to run ableton with no issues.
To recap, in standalone it appears to be as it should be, with responsive knobs, screen updating fine and no lag in ableton
Thanks for any suggestions in advance.

Bumping this, as I can't find a solution anywhere, let alone this issue.

Re: No wifi option in menu
I have the same, no WiFi anymore in the settings.
Update : about 5 minutes after I put on the Push 3 SA the WiFi menu suddenly appears. But the WiFI access points in the list are flashing. After a while I could activate my acccess point. The WiFi is working now, but the WiFi access point menu is still flashing.

Re: No wifi option in menu
The Wifi menu is only available in SA mode. Since it seems you can't boot it up in this mode, you should probably contact Supportgordon_strange wrote: ↑Fri Apr 11, 2025 9:21 amHard reset allows me to go into controller mode, which appears to be working as it should.

Stupid question but: since it's 2nd hand, are you sure it really is a SA version?
