Is there a way to add markers/locators to a single track as opposed to the overall project/set? EG I want to add a marker called "verse 2" to a vocal track; if I later slide that track a few seconds later, I want to still be able to identify when that vocal starts verse 2.
I am working mainly with WAVs of real instruments.
Is this possible? Thanks!

No, is there a problem having global locator intended for this?

Use a dummy midi track and use named clips to display info.

Maybe it is possible to just trigger that "verse 2" in Session View?
I think ClyphX has functions to trigger a Session View Clip or Session with an Arrangement locator.
EDIT: If it is just a matter of locating it visually, can just change the Clip's color or add a colorful emoji to the Clip or Locator name.

How about just slicing up the track into seperate clips for each section? You can rename them and even give them different colors. Just put the cursor where you want to cut (or select the section from start to end) and hit cmd+E / ctrl+E.
I do it like that all the time. Whether a track contains a single continuous take or separate punched-in recordings, it's handy to have, say, the verse being a separate clip called "Verse".
