Windows 11 (latest version as of late April, 2025)
Launch Live 12.1.11, go into Arrangement mode, drag an iPhone video file into a track.
If I now try to drag that file to a different place in the same track, Live hangs. I've reported the problem to Ableton support, but wonder if anyone else is experiencing anything similar.
I tried using a third-party video converter to convert the file to MP4 format, and Live appears to like it that way. But I used to be able to edit files straight out of my iPhone, and now I can't.
Any ideas?
UPDATE: I used VLC Media Player to convert the video from the .MOV format I got from my iPhone to .mp4 format. That video seems to work just fine; so it is apparently a format-specific problem.
