I wish you could export WAVs that keep the markers in the arrangement view as metadata.
I make music and sound for theatre, so I often end up exporting audio to QLab. For this workflow, loop points built into the exported WAV files would save a mountain of time.
Ableton Live has been my DAW for more than 6 years so it's not a deal breaker but a lot of other DAWs have this feature and I think it's time for Ableton to put in into Live.
Export with Arrangement View Markers as Meta-Data
Re: Export with Arrangement View Markers as Meta-Data
Future echo here, exporting audio with arrangement view loop markers as meta-data would still be of value.
Re: Export with Arrangement View Markers as Meta-Data
+1
I want this so that I can
- export multiple sound files by making a single long render of them all from ableton, and then use the metadata markers to easily cut them into separate files using a sound editor.
- also like the OP, it'd be v useful when exporting files to different daws & sessions, especially working with audio to multimedia
