M4L patches that utilise pads

Post by minimaltom » Tue May 13, 2025 2:04 am

This pack of M4L patches create a whole new configuration for how the buttons and pads function when loaded into a track, I don't understand why this isn't more common, does anyone know any other M4L packs that do this kind of thing? I'm mainly talking about sequencers but anything is appreciated.

Thanks

I have a few things on maxforlive.com that do it. All free and hosted there. DropSEQ, Pushsliders, namodseqp3 and the push3 probability pack mod all do.

We're working on Push standalone versions of the Arcade Series, but have a Push: Euclidean Mode sequencer due out in a couple of weeks...

Keep your eyes on the website, or sign up to the mailing to find out first!

Cheers

Thanks for replying isotnik! Yeah im mainly looking into this because I think the in the box sequencer on the push is disapointingly limited actually and feels inhibiting when i use it and would rather go back to the mouse, your patches are showing the potential there but also im just so suprised really that more people arent doing this kind of thing, maybe i have to look into the free ones out there like the poster above says or look into making my own. Keep up the great work thanks :D

No worries, just had the final release candidate delivered, taken more than 6 months till the developer was happy with it...

Once the videos done we'll get it out there,

Hello again S4racen, I was wondering, did the arcade for standalone ever get released ins the end? It doesn't seem to have been updated to be for standalone on the product page and I just got my standalone upgrade so I was hoping to try it out. :P

cheers!

Also it seems now that more people are cotoning on to appropriating the pads in cool ways like the new official ableton push update coming soon for instance and for dyad too, very promising! :D

Hi, Mark's working on a few things at the same time so at this point there's been no progress on that front.

Cheers
