I've automated a chain selector so I can reset to default song settings between songs. I've done this using macro knobs, and then set up dummy clips on my tracks that require them.
The automation works great and the value is changed on the knob. However once I play the next scene after the dummy clip, the value is changed to the default knob value (the last value I set it to manually by scrolling the knob) and the automation won't carry over.

This is happening in multiple tracks, however not all automation clips will have this problem, only some. If I change the knob value manually, it will change where what the "default" knob value is (ie if I change it to a value of 2 manually, and then play the dummy clip to automate it to value 1, and then play the next clip after it, it will change back to 2).
