Thanks for verifying that I'm not crazy. Inconsistent maybe, but not crazy.
Just tried it again and it worked fine! I think I had warp enabled on one of the clips last night.
^ oh so you just change the game as you go!?!

Hello everyone,
I have the same problem. BUT it is not the volume, there is real deterioration between the audio INSIDE and OUTSIDE of Ableton (after exporting the final master) ! Some high frequencies are missing, there is saturation, etc. :(
I have tried lots of things, for instance :

- every single option (wav, aiff, with/without dithering, 16,24,32 bits) for exporting the track

- resampling the master into a new audio track, then exporting this file to a completely empty live set to be sure that it was not because of some plugins on the master chain.. In that case, the resampled audio sounds fine, but the export sounds terrible on my computer.. no change.

- uploading this audio file to soundcloud to see if it wasn't my computer .. still no change

HELP :!: :?: :?: :?: :?:

Hello,

Just encountered a problem as described and found a solution as well, posting here hoping it may save some time to someone. What was causing issues for me was that Windows was "Enhancing the experience" for me. There is a tick box that seems to be a default setting in Windows 10, it was for me at least... Bear in mind that I use Maschine as my audio interface, so the device shown below may be different... Hope it helps:

In Windows 10: Sound settings \ sound control panel \ playback tab \ properties of your playback device \ advanced \ untick "enable audio enhancements"

When bouncing offline, some strange things can happen with calculations (plugin with an oversampling feature and such...). Try bouncing in real time: -> add track -> set your in's to resampling -> set monitor to off -> arm track -> record. Now your recorded master's output should sound exactly the same.

A quick thanks for this. I was having trouble with exported wav files sounding weird. This was the obvious (I realise now) solution.
Ta!
