VST plug-ins not working properly when moved to hard drive
Greetings!
My VST plug-ins have been goofing up ever since I've moved them to my hard drive. When I use them in Ableton, the screen contents only fill a partial amount of the window in the bottom-left corner. The rest of the screen is black. However, clicking buttons makes me have to click where the button or what-have-you would usually be if it wasn't for this weird bug or glitch. This wasn't the case back when I had all my plug-ins on my built-in storage, but I don't wish to move them back. My available built-in storage is very minimal. Can someone give me some insight on this?
Thanks,
Joseph

Mac or Windows? Do you have this issue with all plugins or some specific ones? Any examples?
Mac Studio M2 Max and MacBook Pro M1
Genelec M030; Live 12.2; macOS Sequoia
UAD Apollo Twin
Ableton Push 2

In the future I would recommend never just dragging plugin files. They usually need to be “installed” to the new location in order to ensure their associated files are also properly being referenced.

This reads like a problem with the screen resolution. You can try the following. Right-click in the browser (left side) on the corresponding plugin and switch the display settings (can also be reset). Restart the plugin.

MacOS or Windows?
Did you change the installation path in the XLN Online Installer (OI) or did you just manually move things around? If the latter, what exactly did you move?
In the OI, you can set the path for the Sound Data.
The plugin itself is under 50 MB, so I wouldn't move it.
Typically, I recommend against relocating plugins. Instead, only transfer libraries and data through the settings of the plugin or plugin manager.
