Waveform preview not showing up in browser

It seems completely arbitrary, but sometimes the waveform preview for files in the browser works instantly, and for other files it never works? (This is mostly for short drum samples). Instead off showing the waveform it shows a grey bar next to the audition button. Anyone else also had this issue?

I don't know what you consider short.

If you want the previews for samples longer than 2,5 seconds, you must set the Loop/Warp Short Samples in Settings to something other than "unwarped one-shots".

Most of the samples that im refering to are sub 1 second long drum samples, and the loop/warp short samples is set to auto. This does not solve the problem.
