Ableton Live 12 Volume increase when dropping samples into sequencer.
Hello, I'm currently dealing with a massive headache. Live 12.1.5 keeps increasing the volume of samples I drop onto sequencer dispute it playing back much lower in volume when I preview it. Preview/Cue volume is at 0db too. Can someone help please. My mains are at 0db with nothing on master

Here's a video demonstration: https://youtube.com/shorts/7gVwxODGD7c? ... rVRyk5IDNJ
I would like the behavior in volume to be reversed so that my when i drop samples onto my sequencer it plays back at a much lower volume

If you aren’t somehow inadvertently using a Send channel, the only other possibility I can think of is Complex warp modes. They can have surprising results with amplitude and eq. Have you tried it with different warp modes? Also maybe the clip itself somehow had its level raised (I’m guessing you would’ve checked for that though)

Even when i switch to beat warp mode the clipping stops but it still plays way too loud and doesn't explain why previewing sample plays back at desired/correct monitering levels.

Only other shot in the dark is possibly trying with the Hi Q button turned off. I’ve seen people report in the past it having affected level.
