Does Push 3 controller-only support ADAT?

I am looking for a clear statement, to decide, if I should send back a Behringer Ultragain Digital ADA8200:

Is Push 3 non-standalone capable to integrate an ADAT extender like ADA8200 as audio in/out to Live 12.2 running on macOS?

I see audio signals coming into the ADA8200, I have connected ADA8200 In to Push out and ADA8200 out to Push in, I see the additional ADAT channels 9-16 in Live, but no audio signal reaches Live.

Unfortunately, I was not able to identify a clear support statement in the Push manual or Push FAQ.

Thanks a lot for other experiences or a clear support statement by Ableton!

this should work, I bought a used Art TubeOpto 8 and it took me longer than it should have to realize that I needed a locked setting of 48khz. on the Opto 8, not ADAT. It could be a similar situation with your Bheringer.
