change speed of a non-warped clip

Post by vincent_2 » Sun Jul 20, 2025 4:57 pm

Hi,
I have an audio sample whose speed I want to change independently of the global BPM.
So I disabled the warp, but then I can't change the value of its BPM (or its speed in any way).
I can change the pitch, which change the playback speed, but I want to keep the pitch steady.
I may be missing something obvious, but I can't find how to do that...
Is it possible? How?

OK, I just found that this question was already asked here
viewtopic.php?p=1815442

So, there doesn't seem to be a direct/convenient way to do that for now...

You ENABLE Warp to achieve that, don't know why you concluded the opposite.

I think you’d need to warp it, change the speed of the clip, then bounce it to audio and unwarp it.
