push 2 session mode - follow actions keep launched scene visible?

Post by clay » Wed Aug 13, 2025 10:28 pm

i have a session with 60 scenes and im using follow actions to play through them. By default, push 2 doesnt seem to keep the the currently launched scene visible. i used to use Isotonik Launchsync to keep the current playing scene visible in the middle of the session mode pads but that doesnt seem to be working with live 12.

as an example, if i click a non-visible scene in live and play it, push 2 doesnt make that scene visible. i have to use the arrows to scroll down to find it.

any advice on how i can achieve that? keep the currently playing scene visible? Ive been searching forum and web but nothing seems to be coming up.

If you use Push 2 with the legacy script option then you can continue to use LaunchSync XL which updates the scene selected based on it being directly triggered as an option.

Live doesn't control where the Ring Focus box is as a feature so it has to be done externally.

The changes to the scripting mean that the session offsets component was removed in recent versions giving no external control.
