ping sound whenever i click playback and change the tempo

There is this ping sound, might be a middle c that keeps playing whenever I click the playback for a clip or change the tempo, even though i do not have any tracks armed. It seems to go away when i remove some of the midi mappings but does anyone know why it is occurring and how i can remove the sound and keep the midi mappings? appreciate it thank you!

CHeck your computers MIDI Settings, there's sometimes an active MIDI Device that plays notes.

Specifically uncheck the Output > Remote setting for any MIDI instrument in Live's MIDI settings. MIDI mappings consist of specific notes that are sent back and forth to change a Live parameter from a hardware device and keep the device updated on its state. Those latter feedback notes are sent from Live to all devices that are enabled for MIDI Remote. An instrument will just interpret them as a note to be played.
